Meghan Mary Photography is committed to making our website welcoming and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe your story deserves to be seen, and that starts with a site you can actually use. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we’re always working to improve.
Our Commitment
As a good-faith effort, we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of abilities. This is a voluntary commitment we take seriously, not a checkbox — we build and refine the site with these standards in mind.
Known Limitations
We’re honest about where we’re still improving. A few areas to be aware of:
- Image galleries. Our site is photography-first and image-heavy. We work to describe meaningful images, but some decorative photos may not carry full text descriptions.
- External links. Links that take you off our site — such as our Instagram profile — are not under our control and may not meet the same accessibility standards.
- Ongoing improvements. As we add and update content, some pages may temporarily fall short of our goals while we bring them up to standard.
